I remember being at Relief Society with Mom (Homemaking day) when Jan called from the hospital to say Kathryn was born. What a wonderful birthday gift for Mom!

Yes, Happy Birthday Kathryn, you are lucky to share your birthday with your Granma. So what can we do on Granma's birthday to remember her? I was coming home from the Family History center and Paul asked me how I got interested in genealogy. I told him about going with Mom to do genealogy in New Zealand and she would give me a list of names to look for in the microfich and she would pay me for each name I found. 1 family I remember we worked on had 13 or 14 children, all named after famous people, George Washington Perkins, Christopher Columbus Perkins, etc. As we drove home I wondered if their are some spirts with her that thank her for planting that seed in me to do genealogy work.
